My day usually starts with the school run, and then proceeds to the office. Normal procedure (having climbed the many stairs to our office) is to sprint past all the consultants to get to my preferred location – under Sally’s desk. Occasionally I will sort through the bins for the team just to check they’ve not accidentally thrown out any scraps or sandwich ends, but more often than not I will doze most of the day.
If asked what I bring to the team, then it’s probably that I’m responsible for the calm, reflective, relaxed atmosphere within the office. It’s either that or the occasional addition of aroma therapy to mask that awful smell of coffee.
